My first memories of food are cooking with Mum using homegrown produce from the farm I grew up on. Lamb, orchard apples, eggs from the hen house, and foraging in the hedgerows for blackberries, elderflower, and sloes for Dad's gin all helped kickstart my appreciation of good food.
My kitchen career started in event catering in London, followed by more in Auckland, New Zealand. Private chef jobs took me from houses in the Caribbean, Mozambique, and remotest Scotland to exclusive chalets in the Alps - all experiences from which I now draw ideas and inspiration.
I joined Absolute Taste's event catering team in London, which gave me the opportunity to cook at many prestigious events including Cartier Polo, Chelsea Design Week, Geneva Car Show, Hampton Court Palace music festival and Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday.
I cooked for the McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 team around Europe, and helped manage events such as Omega House at House of St Barnabas during the London 2012 Olympics.
I enjoyed a busy three years as Head Chef at the Absolute Taste restaurant on the 5th Floor in Harvey Nichols.
I now look forward to cooking for you and helping to create your own event.
